Pictured at the launch of The Inclusive Employer blueprint are Daragh O’Loughlin and Isabelle Popovici — who have both participated in programmes run by Business in the Community (BITC) Ireland which leverage the supports of business to help people access employment — with Ken Scully, country manager wih M&S Ireland and Sinead Patton, chief finance and commercial officer of Veolia, who both co-chaired the working group.
The blueprint is a practical guide to create inclusive workplaces and reduce social inequality in Ireland, and is designed as a best practice tool for employers and is targeted at securing, developing and nurturing talent.
The blueprint emerged from BITC Ireland’s Leaders’ Group on Sustainability, a business coalition dedicated to addressing the most pressing sustainability priorities as well as future opportunities for a competitive and inclusive Ireland.
